To the chief musician on the Gittith; for the sons of Korah, a psalm.{HR}How lovely [are] thy tabernacles,{HR}O Jehovah of hosts!
My soul longeth, yea even fainteth,{HR}For the courts of Jehovah;{HR}My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God
(Yea , the sparrow hath found a house,{HR}And the swallow a nest where she layeth her young),{HR}Thine altars, O Jehovah of hosts, my king and my God.
Blessed they that dwell in thy house!{HR}They will be still praising thee. Selah.
Blessed the man whose strength [is] in thee,{HR}In whose heart [are] the highways!
Passing through the valley of the weeping (Baca),{HR}They make it a well-spring;{HR}Also early rain covereth [it] with blessings.
They go from strength to strength;{HR}[Each] will appear before God in Zion.
O Jehovah, God of hosts, hear my prayer;{HR}Give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
Behold, O God our shield,{HR}And look upon the face of thine anointed.
For a day in thy courts [is] better than a thousand:{HR}I had rather be at the threshold in the house of my God{HR}Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
For a sun and a shield [is] Jehovah God;{HR}Grace and glory will Jehovah give,{HR}No good thing will he withhold from those that walk uprightly.
O Jehovah of hosts,{HR}Blessed the man that trusteth in thee.
