To the chief musician; for the sons of Korah, a psalm.{HR}Thou hast been favourable, O Jehovah, to thy land;{HR}Thou hast turned the captivity of Jacob;
Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people;{HR}Thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.
Thou hast taken away all thy wrath;{HR}Thou hast turned, from the fierceness of thine anger.
Restore us, O God of our salvation,{HR}And cause thine indignation toward us to cease.
Wilt thou be angry with us forever?{HR}Wilt thou draw out thine anger from generation to generation
Wilt thou not revive us again,{HR}That thy people may rejoice in thee?
Show us thy mercy, O Jehovah,{HR}And grant us thy salvation.
I will hear what God (El) Jehovah will speak;{HR}For he will speak peace to his people and to his saints;{HR}But let them not turn again to folly.
Surely his salvation [is] near those that fear him,{HR}That glory may dwell in our land.
Mercy and truth are met together;{HR}Righteousness and peace have kissed.
Truth shall spring up from the earth,{HR}And righteousness shall look down from heaven.
Jehovah also will give good;{HR}And our land shall yield its increase.
Righteousness shall go before him,{HR}And shall set his footsteps in the way.
