SALLY is bringing in the good things to serve at Marion’s birthday party. Marion and his little friends have had a happy time celebrating.
It is lots of fun to celebrate birthdays, and all Christians have two birthdays, because God says “Ye must be born again.” John 3:77Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (John 3:7).
That means that we must accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour. We are born into God’s family as soon as we believe in God’s Son. “Ye are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” Gal. 3:2626For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:26).
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.” 1 Peter 1:2323Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (1 Peter 1:23). This means that we take God at His Word, Christ as our Saviour in absolute faith. These things do not come to us by man’s reasonings.
