About This Product
Introduction- The writer was requested some time ago to write an outline on Daniel as a companion piece to the outline on Revelation. Another brother since has also asked for something on the book of Daniel. We are now exercised to do this and seek the Lord’s blessing in it. Brevity, but clarity, is the desire in this presentation, also in such a way as to produce exercise of soul to the readers.
The Lord placed three contemporaneous prophets: (1) Jeremiah at Jerusalem, (2) Ezekiel among the Jewish captives by the river Chebar, and (3) Daniel in the palace of Babylon. Each bore witness faithfully in the place and difficulties the Lord allowed in his path of faith.
Daniel was a faithful saint of God under trying circumstances. He was a man of purpose and prayer. He held himself aloof from defilement for the Lord’s sake. May we with the full-orbed light of Christianity walk so in faithfulness as we await our Lord’s return (James 5:8).
This paper is now commended to the Lord for His blessing to all who may read and meditate on it.
