Most of my readers probably know that Queen Elizabeth of England died on September 8, 2022. She was 96 years old, and she had reigned over England for 70 years, which is the longest any queen or king has ever reigned in England.
Queen Elizabeth had accepted the Lord Jesus as her Savior. This means that she had realized she was a sinner and needed her sins forgiven. She had accepted God’s forgiveness, which He offers to everyone. God can forgive sins because the Lord Jesus died on the cross and paid the penalty of death for our sins. Then God raised Him from the dead and He went back to heaven where He lives now.
Verses from the Bible in John 14 were read at the Queen’s funeral. About 2,000 important and famous people were there, from many countries of the world. They heard that God has a mansion in heaven that He’s inviting us to and that Jesus is the only way to heaven.
The Queen had lived in beautiful castles in England and Scotland, but when she died, she went to a home in heaven that was so much more fantastic! It is so wonderful that nothing on earth can describe it! The Lord is inviting you to come to be there with Him someday, too.
I hope you have accepted Him. If not, I hope you do it right now. All you have to do is sincerely tell the Lord that you’re sorry for your sins. Then thank Him for loving you so much that He died for you and rose again. You will then join Queen Elizabeth and all other Christians around the Lord’s throne, when you leave this world. It will be wonderful!
