THERE is power in the blood of the Lamb
That can cleanse from pollution and sin,
And the one who in Jesus believes,
Is declared by his God to be clean.
'Tis the blood... of the Lamb...
That can free from pollution and sin.
On the cross where the blood has been shed.
Full atonement by Jesus was made,
And the sinner who trusts in the blood
Can be sure that his debt has been paid.
There is life everlasting for all
Who are washed in that soul-cleansing flood,
And a place with the Saviour on high
Through the life-giving power of the blood.
Both the rich and the poor they may come
At the bidding of Him who has died;
For salvation is offered to all
Through the blood of the Lamb crucified.
And the old and the young they may know
That a pardon is offered to all,
And that none who will come are denied;
Then hasten to come at His call.
