The Lord upholdeth all that fall.
There is a beautiful story in the gospels about a man who had fallen into the hands of a gang of robbers, and a traveller passing by helped him up. He went to him, saw that he was beaten and bruised and sick, and bound up his wounds. Then he took him to an inn and paid for two days’ lodging. That’s the way the Lord is. If you are down, He is there to help you up. Even if you don’t have the strength to call for help, He will be there beside you. That’s just the way He is.
