Listen from:
Peter and John healed a man through the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. This was the name which was so despised by the Jews. Now before their very eyes they see a wonderful miracle performed through the power of that name. What a powerful testimony to these unbelieving people!
The lame man who was healed did several significant things. We first read that he went with Peter and John into the temple. We also see that he displayed the effects of the miracle by his actions. And finally he gave praise to God for what had happened to him.
All of this was observed by the people at the temple and it caused great wonder and amazement.
