Listen from:
As Elisha went about serving the Lord, he went to a city called Shunem. A very wealthy woman lived there with her husband. Though she had no children she loved God and was very kind to Elisha because she knew that he was a servant of Jehovah.
In fact, she asked her husband to build a room so that when Elisha visited in that area he could stay there. Elisha appreciated what she had done and he promised her that she would have a son. One day after the lad had grown up, he was working in the field with his father when he got very sick. Not long after he was taken home he died.
His mother quickly called for Elisha to come and when he arrived, Elisha prayed to God that the boy would live. God answered Elisha’s prayer and he gave the boy back to his very happy mother.
