Place celebrated for its wine (Ezek. 27:1818Damascus was thy merchant in the multitude of the wares of thy making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool. (Ezekiel 27:18)). Identified with Helbon, 33° 41' N, 36° 13' E. The village is in a wild glen, high up the Anti-Lebanon, and is still celebrated for its luxurious grapes.
