"FOR HE KNOWETH OUR FRAME; He remembereth that we are dust" (Psalm 103:1414For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. (Psalm 103:14)).
"Wherefore in all things it behoved Him to be made like unto His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of His people. For in that He Himself hath suffered being tempted, He is able to succour them that are tempted" (Hebrews 2:17-1817Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. 18For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succor them that are tempted. (Hebrews 2:17‑18)).
"For we have not an High Priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:15-1615For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:15‑16)).
He knoweth our frame, and He careth,
Our High Priest is pleading above,
He's willing and able to help us,
He's touched in His great heart of love.
He knoweth, and He hath compassion,
He's touched with our feeling of pain;
He knows, and is ready to succour,
Because He has suffered the same.
He tells us to come to Him boldly,
He's ready to e'er intercede;
To give us the grace that is needed,
And for our infirmities plead.
He knoweth our frame, yes, how restful!
To leave in His hands all our care;
To trust Him for grace and deliverance,
To tell Him about all in prayer.
And God has a purpose in suffering,
The Glory ahead is in view;
'Tis only in love He allows it,
Preparing a blessing for you.
Lord, grant us the grace to in patience,
Endure any suffering and pain,
That Thou in Thy wisdom alloweth,
To bring to our souls greater gain.
'Tis comforting e'er to remember,
Our High Priest, the Lord over all,
Is touched by our feeling of weakness,
And hastens to answer our call.
Then trust Him, my soul, and come boldly,
And tell Him each grief by the way;
For He will in mercy sustain you,
And grace He will give for the day.
“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us" (Romans 8:1818For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18)).
“Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to Him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator" (1 Peter 4:1919Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. (1 Peter 4:19)).
“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me" (2 Corinthians 12:99And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2 Corinthians 12:9)).
