Drawing Near to Home

A dear old saint of God sends me the following:— “I hope this will find you well and as busy as ever in the Lord’s work, for which you will he well paid ‘by and bye.’ I am sorry to say that I am no better, but knowing that I am drawing near to home. Oh! the joy of knowing this! For the sting of death has gone, and soon I may expect to see Him, and then to be like Him. We shall then be able to praise as we never can down here. ―R.J.P.C.”
