{v.26-27} When every creature resource is gone, then it is that the Lord repeats Himself for His servants (Deut. 32:26, 27). (Hunt’s Sayings - 475 by R. Hunt)
And why did He not? The answer to this question presents a truth of infinite value and importance to Israel—a truth which lies at the very foundation of all their future blessing. No doubt, so far as they are concerned, they deserved to have their remembrance blotted out from among men. But God has His own thoughts, and counsels, and purposes respecting them; and not only so, but He takes account of the thoughts and the actings of the nations in reference to His people. (Deuteronomy 32 by C.H. Mackintosh)
