Compassion

I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with Me three days, and have nothing to eat.
The food had run out. The crowd had been following the Lord for three days and were probably hungry by this time. But you’ll notice that the Lord didn’t complain because He had no food. Rather, He was concerned for those around Him. This is true compassion - to be concerned for the well-being of others before yourself. Sometimes the Lord’s work may take long hours, no rest, no food. Even then, the people that we are trying to reach should still come first.
