Children, they are so sweet!
They always love to have a treat;
Their faces shine, their eyes are bright
And glow and twinkle like a light.
They love to run and laugh and play;
They’re great at art and paint and clay;
They love to feed their dog or cat;
They’re good at sports and up at bat.
But, children also can be bad;
It makes their parents very sad,
When wrong choices have been made,
And punishment for it must trade.
We all have sinned and done our part;
We must ask Jesus to clean our hearts;
Then to heaven one day we’ll go
And see Jesus on the street of gold.
