The text of the Revisers, following the KJV is mistaken. The marginal is more right, "alla kata" is not a predicate but the virtual substantive of the phrase, "after the pattern of," or according to, "the Holy one that called you."

"Conduct" answers to the early meaning of "conversation," which is antiquated and nearly obsolete, being now confined to free interchange of speech. The uniform sense in the Old and New Testament is, "behavior," "conduct," "course," or "practical life."
