 “All the people” should read “all the peoples,” in the sense of all the nations, for it is undoubtedly the Gentiles that are here in view. (Zechariah 11 by E. Dennett)
 When Messiah came He was rejected; and hence the gathering of the peoples unto Him, though it will surely take place, is postponed — postponed until He comes the second time to Israel in power and glory.
