Where God Is

“I WILL GIVE you a quarter, Tommy, if you will tell me where God is,” said an infidel to a little boy, whose godly mother had taught him the truths of God’s Word. “And I will give you the quarter back,” returned Tommy, “if you will tell me where He is not.”

The infidel had no answer to give.

“The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.” Prov. 15:3³The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. (Proverbs 15:3).

“The eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him.” 2 Chron. 16:9⁹For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars. (2 Chronicles 16:9).

“Thou God seest me.” Gen. 16:13¹³And she called the name of the Lord that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me? (Genesis 16:13).
