What Happened to Them?

Listen from:
Since July 2015, the story of two boys, who were both 14 years old, has been reported in the national news. Late one hot summer morning in south Florida, they went fishing for dolphins in an 18’2” Sea Craft boat. A video of them leaving the inlet and heading out to the ocean can be viewed by anyone.
The parents who owned the boat had told their son he was not allowed to take it out of the Intracoastal Waterway. Sometimes children and teens get tired of grown-ups telling them what they can or cannot do. It seems to them that grown-ups just want to ruin their fun.
At 1:30 that afternoon, a storm hit with winds up to 40 miles per hour. Sadly, the boys have been missing ever since, even after a lengthy search by the U.S. Coast Guard.
Someday soon, many, many people will also be missing, not just from their homes, but from this earth. In I Thessalonians 4:16-17, you may read that the Lord Jesus is coming back to rescue all those who have accepted Him as their Saviour and take them to heaven.
New evidence of the boys was discovered recently when their boat was found stranded 100 miles off the coast of Bermuda. An IPhone was found that had been submerged in saltwater for over eight months now. Our hearts are saddened for the parents who are desperately searching for the answer to what happened to their sons.
When the Lord Jesus comes and takes home to heaven all of His believers, the people left in this sad world will know what happened to us if they read the Bible. Are you ready to go to heaven when Jesus returns? Luke 12:4040Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. (Luke 12:40) tells us, “Be ye therefore ready also, for the Son of Man cometh at an hour when ye think not.”
The Lord Jesus will only allow boys, girls, and grown-ups into heaven whose sinful hearts have been washed clean by His blood. He died on the cross to pay the punishment for our sins. His precious blood paid the price to God, so God can forgive us. If you aren’t saved yet, Jesus is patiently waiting for you to come to Him and accept Him into your heart. Don’t wait any longer, because Jesus might come today!
