The little girl took her pencil and wrote the reply, “Prayer is the wish of the heart.”
And so it is. All fine words and beautiful verses said to God do not make real prayer, it must be the desire of the heart; and it is well also to remember that God has said, He will not hear the prayer of him who regards iniquity in his heart.
Psa. 66:18
