Wash Day

THIS is mother’s wash day and she enjoys getting the clothes clean and white. Did you ever hear of the world’s wash day? That was a wonderful day for us. It happened when the blessed Lord Jesus Christ hung on the cross. He washed away our sins.
“Unto Him that loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood.” Rev. 1:5.
“Ye are washed... ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus.” 1 Cor. 6:11.
“Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Isa. 1:18.
Isn’t that wonderful? Just think, Christ died for the whole world. But is every one in the world saved? Ah no, because some people don’t believe in Him, some think that they can save themselves, and some think they are not bad enough to have their sins washed away.
If you are not saved, God is writing down in a book all the times you have disobeyed, all the lies you have told, and all the wicked things you think and do and say. Go to Him and tell Him you need to be washed and saved.
“Now is the day of salvation.” 2 Cor. 6:2.
