A boy came to this country to seek a fortune. Some time after, he came, he found the Lord Jesus ChriSt as his own Saviour, and became a happy and rejoicing child of God. He wrote to his friends,
“I have found a fortune.”
We often hear children, as well as grown people, in speaking of a wealthy man, say, “
I wish he was my father.”
But who are so rich as those who have God for their Father, and Christ for their Saviour.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ.” Eph. 1:33Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: (Ephesians 1:3).
“The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, saith the Lord of Hosts.” Hag. 2:88The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts. (Haggai 2:8).
