Tongue

Peter sinned with his tongue it is therefore remarkable that when he points out the life of the Lord as a pattern for us, he confines his illustrations by the way the Lord used His tongue (1 Peter 2). The tongue is so deceitful that it is actually put in contrast with truth (1 John 3:1818My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. (1 John 3:18)).
