It will be noticed that the critical reading is "us" rather than "you." The T. R. reading was a change from "us" to "you," which is wholly unsuitable. It would have been "thee," if it had referred to Titus; but the general application to the family of God is the better sense. "Concerning us" (Christians generally) seems evidently the word which the apostle wrote and of course meant.
