It came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed.
God’s time had finally arrived. It was now God’s time for the end to Joseph’s trial - the end of his prison term and his rejection. And God used a dream to get him out. Pharaoh dreamed something that made no sense. His butler finally remembered that kind young man in prison who could interpret dreams. Joseph is released from prison in order to serve, not Pharaoh only, but ultimately the whole nation of Egypt, and to be reconciled and reunited to his family. When it’s God’s time things happen.
