"That Means Me"

Listen from:
I WAS the youngest child of Christian parents who took every opportunity to instill into my mind the Word of Truth, but I was ten years old before I began to seriously think about Eternity. I knew that if Christ should come before I was ready, I would be left behind. I was thinking one night like this when I opened my Bible and turned to John 3:1616For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16). The words just seemed to fit me:
“God so loved the world” (I’m in the world, so He must have loved me), “that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever” (that means me), “believeth on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Then I believed, for I could see that when I believed that “Christ died for me, a guilty sinner,” I was saved. I took the Word of God home to myself and was saved.
