If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
One of the tests that building (service) will undergo is, was it done on the foundation? If so, then my work will receive a reward - it was gold, silver, precious stones and passed the fire test. What a wonderful day to be rewarded for faithful service. Not that I’m doing it for a reward but that my work will glorify the Lord Jesus. He should be the motivating force and reason why I do everything. Are you building with the right materials?
