Hymns Appendix #4 and 12.
No details are available, but we can quote his precious hymn #4 Appendix
“His be the victor’s name Who fought the fight alone;
Triumphant saints no honor claim,
His conquest was their own.
By weakness and defeat He won the meed and crown,
Trod all our foes beneath His feet
By being trodden down.
Bless, bless the Conqueror slain, slain in His victory,
Who lived, Who died, Who lives again,
For thee, His church, for thee.”
Hymn #12 Appendix is also worthy of consideration and we shall quote one stanza:
“There, in His book, I bear
More than a conqueror’s name,—
Of SOLDIER, SON, and FELLOW-HEIR,
WHO FOUGHT AND OVERCAME.”
