Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
The Lord was a willing sacrifice. He gave Himself voluntarily as the only one qualified to bear our sins. We could not have borne the punishment that God had to inflict to pay the price for sin.
There was none other good enough,
To pay the price for sin.
He only could unlock the gate
Of heaven, and let us in.
