God’s judgments will begin on the countries that had the influence of Christianity but did not want God. The white horse represents the Roman Empire becoming strong again. The bow without arrows means the Roman Empire will control the world without fighting. They may use peace treaties and the threat of missile warfare. The red horse indicates blood and death. The sword refers to civil war with hand-to-hand fighting and killing one another. There will be no peace on earth. The black horse indicates famine, death and sorrow. Food for the common people will be scarce and the prices will be very high. The pale horse will cause more fear on earth. Twenty-five percent of the people will be killed by diseases like Ebola. Wild animals will also kill people.
When the fifth seal is opened, John sees the souls of faithful Jews who will be killed by enemies who hate God. These faithful Jews were preaching that Christ the King will return to set up His kingdom. Their prayer is vengeance on their enemies. They will be raised from the dead to reign with Christ for 1000 years.
The sixth seal happens near the middle of the seven years of tribulation. Governments will crash like an earthquake. The stars falling could be the big leaders of Western nations losing power. Authority of police and government will not be respected. People will riot, kill and steal. Fear will be everywhere. When people realize these judgments are from God, the world will panic. But the worst judgments are still to come.
