and he shall.
and he treadeth.
First, there is the word of power set forth by the sharp sword going out of His mouth. If any must be destroyed, it is enough for the Lord Jesus Christ to speak. (Lectures on Revelation 19 by W. Kelly)
a rod of iron." This is the judgment which is referred to in Revelation 2, where there is a promise to those of Thyatira who overcome, that they shall have fellowship with Christ in this judgment of the nations. (Lectures on Revelation 19 by W. Kelly)
the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of Almighty God." This is the unsparing judgment that we have seen before in Revelation 14. It is vengeance on religious wickedness, which is always reserved for the severest stroke that God can inflict. (Lectures on Revelation 19 by W. Kelly)
Verse 15 is in allusion to Psa. 2:8, 9:... This is what Jesus shall execute at His glorious appearing. To break the nations with a rod of iron is quite another thing from the gospel. He has the nations, not as His bride, but as His inheritance. (Lectures on Revelation 19 by W. Kelly)

J. N. Darby Translation

+
15
And out of his mouth goes a sharp two-edged sword, that with it he might smite the nations; and he shall shepherd them with an iron rod; and he treads the wine-press of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.

W. Kelly Translation

+
15
And out of his mouth proceeded a [two-edgeda] sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with an iron rod: and he treadeth the winepress of the wine of the indignationb of the wrath of God thec Almighty.

WK Translation Notes

+
a
"Two-edged" is added before "sharp" by some MSS., contrary to others.
b
The RV excludes "and" before "wrath" (indignation) which the T. R. had along with some copies, contrary to most of the later MSS.
c
There is no good reason why those who said "God, the Almighty" (or some equivalent) elsewhere in Rev. (1:8, 4:8, 11:17, 15:3, 16:7, 14, 19:6), should say, "Almighty God" without the English definite article in this verse.
