The word “commit” might be rendered “roll.” He who rolls his affairs over upon the Lord, will find Him ever ready to take charge of them all, and to carry them on to a proper completion and establishment. But it must be borne in mind that if I thus commit all to Him, I no longer choose for myself as to what the outcome should be. (Proverbs Sixteen by H.A. Ironside)
