These true stories are written down just as they have been told to children on Sunday afternoons. God is always working in his own blessed way in the hearts of sinners, drawing them to Christ. He is always working for the instruction and encouragement and joy of his people. He uses ways and means, strange and insignificant perhaps in our eyes, to bring us to know him better, and trust him more completely. He orders the events of our lives so that we may learn something more of his love for us, those he has redeemed for himself, and whom he is preparing for eternal fellowship with him.
The more we observe these things, the more we discover that the Lord Jesus Christ is dear to our hearts.
Some of these stories show us the wonderful and unexpected ways by which sinners learn of the Lord Jesus.
May you be encouraged by these stories to tell others to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.
