One mentioned with Hymenaeus as having taught that the resurrection was already past (probably allegorizing it) by whom the faith, of some had been overthrown. Their evil doctrine would eat as a canker, or gangrene (2 Tim. 2:1717And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymeneus and Philetus; (2 Timothy 2:17)).
