ABSALOM

God has given Him a name which is above every name. (Phil. 2:9⁹Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: (Philippians 2:9).)

Firstborn-heir to the throne (Rom. 8:29²⁹For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. No beauty that we should desire Him (Isa. 53:2²For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. (Isaiah 53:2))

Obedient (Heb. 5:8⁸Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; (Hebrews 5:8))
