• This separateness and this self-denial are not forever. Even Christ will not always be a Nazarite. He will know fullness of joy with God and His own. He will say, “Eat, O friends; drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved.” (“Numbers 6” by J.N. Darby)
• {v.13-15} The laws of these different offerings are in Leviticus, but all typify the “one offering of the body of Jesus Christ.” When the days of the Nazarite’s consecration are concluded, it looks as if all the offerings are mentioned. All are enumerated. They all present different aspects of the one offering of the Lord Jesus Christ; and inasmuch as the end of our consecration will either he the coming of the Lord to take us home, or our going to be with Him by falling asleep, we shall then enter into all the meaning of that sacrifice, as known to God.
