WE HAVE found 202 Names for the blessed Lord Jesus Christ in the Bible and perhaps there are more. We have just mentioned several of His Names with pictures but we must tell you a few more things about Him.
“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.” Isa. 9:6.
“Thou shalt call His Name Jesus: for He shall save His people from their sins.” Matt. 1:21.
“They shall call His Name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” Matt. 1:23.
“God... hath... spoken unto us by His Son, Whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by Whom also He made the worlds; Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high.” Heb. 1:1-4.
“In Whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God... for by Him were all things created... and He is before all things.” Col. 1:14-17.
