Leviticus, chapter 2.
And then any will offer a neat offering under the Lord. His offering shall be a tiny flower, and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense there on.
And he shall bring it to Aaron's son for priests, and he shall take there out his handful of the flower thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the Frankie sense they're out, and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the electorate.
It is an offering made by fire and a sweet Saber unto the Lord.
And the remnant of the meat offering shall be Aaron's and his sons.
It is a thing most fully.
Of the offerings of the Lord made by 5.
And if thou bring an oblation of a meat offering baking in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of science, flower and England oil.
Are uneven waiters anointed with oil and if I wasting the meat offering bitten in a pan, it should be a fine flour partaking pieces and pour oil they're on it is a rebel cramp.
And yet I obliged him be a meat offering baking in the frying pan, it should be made of fine flour with oil. And thou shall bring the meat offering that is made of these things unto the Lord.
And what is presented under the priest, he shall bring it unto the altar, and the priest shall take from the meat offering the memorial thereof, and shall burn it upon the altar. It is an offering made by fire, the sweet savour unto the Lord. And that which is left of the meat offering shall be Aaron's and his sons. It is a thing most COVID of the offerings of the Lord named by fire.
Nobody doctrine which he shall bring unto the Lord shall be made with.
Ye shall burn no leather, nor any offering of the Lord made by.
That's the ablation of the first fruit. She shall offer them unto the Lord. They shall not be burned on the altar for a sweet Savior.
And every oblation of thyme doctrine shall have seasoned with salt.
Ye shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering. With all thy offerings I shall offer sought.
And it's not offering me offering of my first fruits under the Lord. Thou shall offer for the meat offering of thy first fruits, green ears of corn, dryer, even corn, Vietnam full years, and not show poor oil on it. And like frankincense around his meat offering and the pretty, she'll burn the memorial of it, part of the beaten corn thereof, and part of the oil thereof with all the frankincense thereof. It is an offering made by fire.
From the Lord.
In the 1St chapter we had the bird offering.
That presents Christ in death.
And his perfect obedience, devotedness to God his Father.
And the whole offering was full of horror is with only one exception to that, and that is his skin was for the priests.
But all of it went up to God. It presents Christ obedient unto death even without the cross, in obedience when the very place of sin.
In his life, his obedience was in the joy of the Father's communion.
He did always the things that pleased him, he said. My father has not left me alone, for I do always those things that please him.
That we get in the lead offering Chucky too. What we read tonight.
When we get his, His obedience.
When he was at the cross.
There he can say, therefore does my father love me because I lay down my life, I might take it again. I lay it down with myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my father. So he did it. He made his life down as an Antonio sacrifice for sin and obedience to his father.
Fulfilling the Father's commandments, it was the highest act of obedience in the Lord's pathway.
Not then in the joy of communion, but then when he was.
In the place of sin.
And he did the will of God in that place. But what we read tonight is the meat offering.
And that presents Christ's perfection of man, presents to us His holy sinless.
Perfect humanity.
00:05:00
And it's presented to us in that first verse. And many will offer a neat offering, really a meal offering that was all meat in the offering at all. That was so glad that this offering presents Christ in his life before he shed his blood.
His offering shall be a fine flower.
And he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense there on that part of the weed offering that had frankincense thereon, that was placed upon the altar, and that went up to God as a sweet Savior. If I can sense his dying puts it, it was the Excellency of all the motives and the will and the affections of the blessed Lord in his devotedness to the Father.
In his perfect life down here.
It all ascended as a sweet savour. The Father had to open the heavens on 2 occasions at the river Jark and on the mountain and declare this is my beloved Son, whom I am well pleased his delight was in heaven.
Mr. Ballet said so beautifully. He said there once was an object here below that would commend the place, but now it is gone. Jesus is with the Father, an object for heaven to look down upon and be delayed it in that blessed life.
That purely doctrine of finding power, if you would represent my nature or your nature, it wouldn't be fine product. It would be filled with hard lumps of substances that were very unyielding.
But there was that perfect smoothness and evenness of character with each one of us. Take the apostle Peter. You can characterize Peter and say he was forward and impetuous and often spoke before thinking he had that kind of a nature.
And there's others like James and John. They were surnamed for their jeeps, that is the sons of Thunder. We don't often think of John in that way. But you see that Thunder coming out when the Lord's face was set to go to Jerusalem and they wouldn't receive it in Samaria. And James and John said, shall we command fire to come down from God out of heaven and destroy them even as Elias did? And the Lord has to correct them and say, we know not what manner of spirit you are of.
But the Son of Man is not come to destroy themselves, but to save them, And he went to another city.
Village. There was always that perfection of character with the lawyers. There was no predominating feature in anything. You cannot say, well, this is where he excel.
Because He was that kind flower, that was that perfect evenness. He was perfect in every circumstance, in every condition, no matter who he was dealing with, whether it was the Pharisees or the Republicans and sinners, whether it was a poor fallen woman.
That had been taken in adultery or another that came dared to come in to sign the Pharisees house because he was there. And then there was that Pharisee. No matter who it was, the Lord knew exactly what to say and how to act in this perfection. Perfect, perfect humanity, the fine flower and royal pour upon it. He was anointed by the Holy Spirit.
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth, who went about doing good, hearing all that were oppressed of the devil.
Regardless with him the anointed man and then later it speaks of mingle with oil.
His whole humanity was represented by, mingled with oil, by power, and mingled with oil.
How shall this be? Mary said, Since I know how to manage, She was told by the angels she was there. The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest to over shadow thee. Wherefore also that holy thing which shall be born of these should be called Son of God.
His humanity mingled with thought out of the Holy Spirit, preserving that humanity holy, impeccable, without sin.
It says here in this in the meat offering, it says in verse 3, it is a thing most holy of the offerings of Lord of the Lord made by fire. Again that's repeated in verse 10. That which is left of the meter offering shall be Aaron and his sons is the thing most fully of the optimism of the Lord made.
He said that there's one other of the offerings where that is stated, and that's the present presenting Christ bearing our sins in the body of the tree.
It says it is most holy and I believe that is put there in the sin offerings so that we don't get the wrong idea that at that time when he was bearing our sins and paying the penalty of sins for sins that he was not fully.
00:10:16
He was holy.
Absolutely fully, even when doing that work is telling me especially then not even especially that, but here we have the meat offering presenting Christ's holy, impeccable, sinless humanity. That stated again in verse.
11 No media offering which he shall bring unto the Lord shall be made with letter, letting speaks of sin in its defiling and spreading character.
Better put a little Lebanon in the dough and soon the the whole mass would be levied. That's a character of the defilement of sin. There was no lesson in the lead offering that represented Christ.
There is a meat offering referred to in verse 12. As for the elation of the first fruits, you shall offer them unto the Lord. Now they were made with lemon. They don't represent Christ, but rather they represent the church.
And then talk about Leviticus 23 late lows. They were baking with lemon because we have sin in us. He had nothing here. So the meat offering that represented Christ was without Levin.
There was something else to be excluded in the media offering in verse 11.
He shall know the offering shall be made with leaven.
For ye shall burn the 11.
Nor any honey in any offering of the Lord made by fire.
That was to be excluded. We understand that quite readily, because it represents sin.
And that, of course, there was none of that in the blessed Lord. He was most holy.
But there was also the exclusion of honey, which represents.
The amiability of nature.
The sweetness of nature.
And.
It has been said very truly that when the Lord made a visit, He never just made a social visit. I remember a long time when a brother and I visited another and we were very brilliant about some things and we made the visit and we talked about things of very little consequence.
Never really they never really, they never really got into the matters that were important and as we left this house.
It was a kind of visit, you can say with a nice visit.
And I said to the brother that was with me, I said that visit was all honey. There was no salt in the visit. I felt buried, downcast at at that. We hadn't been faithful. That was the lack of faithfulness on our heart. The Lord had never made that kind of a visit.
That was always the pungency of the salt, as it goes on to say in verse 13, Every oblation of that you are being shalt thou seasoned with salt. Neither shall thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering. With all thy offerings thou shall offer salt.
He never made just a social visit.
That was a nice visit. Sometimes, you know, we'll have a conference and let's say how was it? Oh, we had a lovely time. Well, you can have that and not have had ministry. That was needed for the hour industry, for the conscience as well As for the heart.
So we need the salt that was not a meat offering, that lack of salt. There was always that energy of holiness, that faithfulness with the Lord Jesus that brought the Word to bear and the truth of God bear upon consciences that He dealt with. We look at some instances in Scripture where we see that.
But there was number no honey in him.
Let's look at some passages that demonstrate this.
In Matthew chapter 10. No. Matthew chapter 12. Excuse me?
And check 12.
Verse 46 While he has talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brother stood without desiring to speak with him.
00:15:07
And that one said unto him, Behold, thy mother, and thy brethren stand without desiring to speak with thee. But he answered and said unto him, That told him, Who is my mother, and who are my brethren? He stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren, For whosoever shall do the will of my father, which is in heaven the same as my brother.
And sister and mother. So he sets aside.
The claims of nature in favor of.
Or spiritually, he owns as his mother and his brethren those that did, the will of God his Father.
Those were his true bragging.
And not those that were related to him according to nature. In fact, we read in John 7 about his brothers after the flesh. While he was here in this world, he said neither did his brethren. He needed him.
They didn't come to faith in that Blessed One until after his resurrection. Another instance, Matthew 16.
In 1916 and verse 21.
From that time forth began Jesus is showing his disciples.
Now that he must go unto Jerusalem and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes to be killed in Eurasia, get the third day.
Then Peter took him and began to rebuke him, saying, Be apart from thee, Lord, this shall not be unto thee. Pity thyself, spare thyself.
But he turned and sent him to Peter. Now Peter meant well. Peter loved the Lord Jesus. And when the Lord talked about.
Is being killed. I don't think Peter even heard that he raised the third day, certainly didn't enter into that. He was trying to defend the Lord of the sessions of the Cross. Sometimes we try to prevent the very thing that the Lord is sending, and it is His will to accomplish in order to accomplish in US what is necessary.
Most of us grow the most in times of trial and difficulty, the very things that we try to avoid.
Are the very things that.
We need in order to learn the lessons that he seeks to teach us well.
But he turned verse 23 and said unto Peter, Get me behind me, Satan.
Thou art and offense unto me there was number stop lacking with the Lord Jesus faithful always faithful administering at times and hear the severest review to one that he had just said to to him. Blessed art thou Simon Barjona, for flesh and blood is not revealed without thee. But my Father, which is in heaven. He has just confessed nor the Christ and Son of the living God.
But now he pronounces him Satan because he was trying to prevent with all good intention.
Honey does not enter into nature, does not enter into God's mind, and so it was excluded from the need offering.
And so Peter is administered with severe review. During the second Peter 50 behind me, Satan bowed in offense unto me. But our Savior is not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. Had Peters advice then taken.
There be no salvation. There be no salvation for any of us.
Let's look at some other instances as they come to mind. Luke Chapter 7.
Luke Chapter 7.
We have a beautiful instance.
The Life of my Blessed Lord, verse 36.
And one of the Pharisees desire things that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisees house, and sat down to meet, and behold a woman in the city, which was a Sinner.
When she knew that she decided me to the Pharisees house brought an alabaster box of the and stood at his feet behind him weeping and began to wash his feet with tears, and then wiped them with the hairs of her head and kissed his feet.
And then I did that with elite mention.
Now when the Pharisee, which he didn't have saw it, he spake within himself, saying, this man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him, or she is the same a woman of.
00:20:12
That's what he means. Jesus actually set up in his Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee, he says, Master say on he know the very thoughts of his heart sign didn't speak this out audibly. He thought it in his heart. Now the Lord is answering the thoughts of his heart.
Is going to be a plan.
He said Master say honor, there was a certain predator which had two debtors, the one owed 500 pets and the other 50, and when they had nothing to pay he frankly forgave them both. Tell me, therefore, which of them will love you most?
Simon actually said, I suppose that he.
And he said unto him, I was right against. And he turned to the woman and set up the signer. She established woman. I entered into thine house. I gave us me no water for my feet, but she has washed my feet with tears and wiped them with the hairs of her head. Thou gave us me no kiss of this woman. Since the time I came in have not ceased to kiss my feet. My head would go out. It's not annoyed, but this woman.
That anointed my people mentioned, Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven, or she loves much.
But the whole moon is forgiven, the same love is little. You said unto her, thy sins.
Together and they decided to meet with him, began to say within themselves, who is this that forgiveness sins also, he said to the woman, thy faith that saved me, go in peace.
The law is given by Moses. Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Pine flower anointed with oil.
Or how the Father delighted to you him and all of these circumstances to which he passed always with the right word, word of review to Peter, the word of admonition to Simon Pharisee. And and yet when Simon could reflect upon this encounter with the blessed Lord, and we have the inexplicable privilege of having in his house.
And here was this sinful woman.
She said your soul and must.
Get together. I must honor him.
We don't know who it was, some think it was Mary Magdalene because her name isn't given just this order. But it's interesting that he does name the Pharisee, calls him by name Simon. I wondered about that. Very different from the Pharisee in the 11TH chapter, which we look at in a moment.
But Simon could go away from this encounter and he could say yes, she was a 500 pinsteader, far worse than I.
But I don't think he takes.
Andy frankly forgave them all. So he could say if he reasoned it out properly, he could say there's forgiveness for me too and self-righteous forgiveness for me. I think of Luke 15 where you have the prodigal. He came back and well, fathers are there in the feast. And the older son who was a, who was a Pharisee, you heard the music in the dancing, he would not go in.
He would not enter into the joy of the Father.
He was too self-righteous and the father went out to him. To me that is as touching an instance in that whole narrative as the father running to be the prodigal. He went out to the ultrasound and he said son are ever with me and all that. I have decided it was me that we should be married and be glad for this. My brother was dead and is alive again. He was lost and is found.
That God has even grace, mercy.
Not just for the public. Now would it be the 11TH chapter where you have another encounter with the Lord of, you know, in a Pharisees house. Verse 37 actually spake that certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him, and he went and sat down to me. And when the Pharisee saw it, he marveled that he had not first washed before dinner.
And the Lord said after him, and notice this is the tone, the tone here totally different than when he was in.
Silence House. So he was also Pharisee.
Now do these Pharisees may clean the outside of the cup on the platter, but your inward part is full of rappening and wickedness. He fools did not He that made back which is without, make that which is within also, but rather give arms of such things as you have, and behold, all things are clean unto you.
00:25:10
All of you Pharisees, are you tithed into room in all manner of herbs, Passover judgment, and the love of God. These two have done enough to leave the other undead. I never forget.
I was working in, well, I worked at Show Brothers where they made microphones. We were testing some microphone that had RF. There's a wireless and I was in a screen room and I was working there testing it and an engineer came in.
Peter Davidson, I believe is his name. He was a Jew and I got to talking to him and we were all alone, the two of us. And I had a Bible there. And I said to him, I said, I'll show you why your people hated the Lord Jesus, why they crucified him. And I read him these verses. It wasn't really from Luke, it was really from Matthew 23 with the same verses.
Well, in verse 43 now wall of universities.
For you love the undermost seats in the synagogues, ingredients in the markets belong to you. Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites for years rays which appear not on the men that walk over them are not aware of them. Then actually one of the lawyers and said unto him, Master, thus saying, how reproaches us also thinking of course, that that would be back away. He would be intimidated by that. Who were these lawyers?
He said, well, and do you also give lawyers? Or you made men with burdens grievous to be born, and he yourselves touched off the burdens with one of your fingers wall unto you. When you build a separation of the prophets, and your father's killed them, truly you bear witness that you allow the beads of your father's, for they indeed kill them, and you build their supporters. Therefore also said the wisdom of God. I will send them prophets and apostles, and Sullivan. They will explain and persecute.
That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation.
From the Father Day Lord, to the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple. Verily I stand to you. It should be required of this generation. While unto you lawyers, for you have taken away the key of knowledge, and you're not in yourselves and men that we're entering into injured. And as he said these things unto them, describing the Pharisees began to appreciate humanity and to provoke him to speak of many things, laying wait for him and seek something out of his mouth.
That they might accuse him.
Can which of you convince of me of sin?
They didn't know who they were up against. I love to see how he feels handles these self-righteous hypocrites, the Pharisees. But there's a different tone in this Pharisees house. An entirely different tone that we then we came across in the 7th chapter. But no matter what the circumstances, no matter what the occasion, no matter who the people were.
He was pregnant kind of hard.
Anointed and mingled with oil, and it all ascended. The frankincense resigned as the fathers, and all descended for him to appreciate, for only he could properly appreciate value that. Lesson 1.
Now let's look at Galatians chapter 1. I think it is. Maybe it's two if I did.
Relations.
I think it's 2.
Relations 2 and verse 11.
But when Peter was come to India.
I was sitting to the face because he was to be blamed.
For before that certain James.
James was the Lord's brother.
He is mentioned in the 1St chapter, verse 19. Other of the apostles saw an unsaved Jesus. The Lord's brother would follow to Jerusalem after his conversion, so he had a very prominent place. He was not an apostle, but he was a chief man among the brethren.
And.
So it says, for before that certain came from James verse 12, he did eat with the Gentiles, but when they were come he withdrew. Peter did and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
And the other Jews assembled likewise with him, and so much regardless also was carried away with their disinformation. So the claims of these Jewish brethren and Jerusalem and the pressure that they exerted even on a possible Peter Barnabas too was an apostle.
They were both went straight that is a they were so influenced by their national.
00:30:03
Allegiance to their brethren, the Jewish brethren. That's very akin to honey.
That they would lead astray.
And then Paul says, when I saw verse 14, that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel. And here we have the sauce, the faithfulness of the apostle Paul rebuking the duplicity of the Peter and Barnabas.
I saw that they want that uprightly according to the truth of the gospel. I said unto Peter before the mall, he was a leader in it. If thou being a Jew with this after the manner of Gentiles and not a stupid Jews, like I'm gonna stop the Gentiles to live in the stupid Jews and so on. I won't be just this instance.
Of how Peter again.
Missed the Lord's name and had to be reviewed by one who became an apostle later.
But he was also in this instance.
Faithful. What Jesus is called the one who is faithful. Faithful witness.
Not so faithful is he? But there was only one, even Paul.
And let's look at that in the book of Acts.
Before we do, I want to read a verse in Romans Chapter 9.
To show the intensity, the love that Paul had for his brethren after the flesh, he says, I say the truth in Christ I lie not, my conscience also bearing the witness in the Holy Ghost, that I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.
For I could wish, I think that I have wished that myself were a curse from Christ. That is, it was a passing thought, Oh, I love him so much that I would be willing to be made a curse of Christ. But they would be saying.
I could wish her, I have wished that myself were a curse from Christ for my brethren, my kids with according to the flesh, who are Israelites, to whom pertain to the adoption of the glory of the covenant and giving the law and service of God in the process. Those are the fathers and of whom is concerning the flesh. Christ came. It was over all God blessed forever, Amen. He loved them. He loved them with such an intensity of love.
As Moses like Moses said, let me I pray out of my book and the Lord said him and sitteth against me will have lot of the book.
Now Paul couldn't be made the only one that could be made and we get that in Galatians 313. He was made a curse for us or he's written cursed as everyone that had him on a tree. All could be a curse from Israel. He was a Sinner. He couldn't be a sacrifice for them, but he had a desire. He had a wish. He loved them very intended. Now if he turns to to Acts 21.
That came to pass that after we were gotten from them and didn't watch.
Came with a straight course unto quotes and the day following the roads and prevents her and finding a ship sailing over onto Benicio. We went abroad aboard and set forth. Now when we have discovered Cyprus, we left it on the left hand and sailing into Syria and landed entire but the other ship was to make her to unlike her burden.
And finally, disciples who carried their seven days, who sent to Paul through the Spirit.
That he should not.
Walk to Jerusalem.
Our He loved them with a certain seed that most of us don't have.
Certainly I don't.
But he loved them as we've just 16 in Romans 9 that much?
And now he gets word.
True. A prophet.
To by the Spirit speaking that Paul don't want to use.
And when we had accomplished those days, we departed and went our way, and they all brought us on our way with wives and children, till we were held to the city, and we kneeled down on the shore and prayed. And when we had taken out of the valley, we took **** and they returned home again. And when we had finished our cars from tire, we came to Tomas, and so did the brethren, and both of them one day.
The next day we were a false company departed and came up to Cecilia, and we entered into the House of Philip the Evangelist, which was one of the seven involved with him. They said he had four daughters, virgins, which did prophecy, and as we care to have many days there came down from Judea a certain prophet named Agabus, and when he was coming to us, he took Paul's guru and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus they have the Holy Ghost.
00:35:09
So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man, that only this girl, and shall deliver him into the hands of the young. And when we heard these things both leave, and they have that place, we saw him not to go up to Jerusalem.
Then Paul answered, What a meanie to weep and break my heart, for I'm ready not to be bound only, but also to diet Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus, the hardest thing for us to accept because of the intense love of nature that all had for his Jewish bread.
Is when God says to us, I'm not going to use you to speak to them, don't go, I'm going to use someone else. Or he may not even say that, but that's what he intends.
Sometimes.
We have to come to that point with our own children, and we have to realize that we have said just about all that we can say, and we just have to commit them to the Lord. And the Lord will use someone else to awaken your conscience.
And it's hard when you love someone so much and you desire their good, their blessings. Called in the Jews. His motives were pure.
With God, when I failed, it would be like Paul failed. But still, as one brother has said, if your motive isn't right, nothing is right. And I would add to that, even if your motive is right.
If you're not in the direct will of God, you can still make mistake.
And so Paul said, I'm going to die at Jerusalem of the name of the Lord Jesus, and he was. And Peter mentioned when he said, Go all deny thee, and will not I I'm willing to die.
Amen. And Paul many that the Lord had said by the Spirit to Paul not to go to Jerusalem, and when he would not be persuaded, we cease saying the will of the Lord be done.
And after those days he took up our carriages and went up to Jerusalem. There had been this also certain of the disciples of Caesarea, and brought with them 1 Mason of Cyprus, an old disciple with whom we should lodge. And when we were come to Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly. Now the reason he went was to win those Jews whom he loved so much for Christ.
That was his intention.
And we'll see what happens.
When we were come to Jerusalem, the brethren received this gladly. In the day following, Paul went in with us up to James. That's that Saint James we were referring to the Lord's half brother, and all the others were present. And when he had saluted them, he declared particularly what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry. And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, I'll see his brother. How many thousands of Jews there are, Which indeed? And they're all zealous.
They had in Acts 15 decided to question down at Jerusalem. Paul and Rodgers brought the question down to Jerusalem, should the Gentiles be put under law? And they had decided no, but they had never thought that they were not under law any longer either. That took a while. And that's why the Epistle to the Hebrews was written to tell these Jewish believers, let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp bearing with his reproach. That is, they would acquit Judaism altogether to abandon it.
Favor of Christian truth, but they hadn't come to that yet. I'll see your smarter how many thousands of Jews there are which believe in they're all zealous of the law one an anomalous state of things we have the Gentile church not under law and the Jewish church under law that couldn't go on but God bore with that for for many years until finally they had.
To.
Leave it the Jews.
Well.
Verse 21 And they are informed of thee is speaking to Paul, that thou teaches all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to present Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children either to walk after the customs. And if you read very carefully, if this is the Galatians, that's exactly what you talk.
That was a true church.
Now he's going to be faithful.
Or is he going to give them to the Jewish fashion?
What is it there for? The multitude must needs come together, for they will hear that power come. You therefore this that we say to thee. We have 4 men which have a vow on that, probably the Nazarite cloud. Then take and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads. And all they know is those things. Where are they reformed and certainty or nothing but that. Now myself also walk this door to me and keep us along.
00:40:17
What's he coming? What's he going to do this?
Was he going to do something that would substantiate that he walked orderly and kept the law?
When he taught us the opposite, as touching the Gentiles, which believe we have written and concluded that they have observed no such thing, saying only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols and their blood and strangled and fornication. That was just that was in the 15th chapter made that decision.
Then Paul took them in, and the next day, purifying himself with them, entered into the temple instead of Paul winning his Jews for Christ.
They persuaded him to follow the old Oracle.
He was not in the place of strength there. Jerusalem.
He was in the place that nature drove him to.
And was love for his brother? Yes, but he was not in the direct world of God.
Then Paul took to them verse 26, and the next day, purifying himself with them, entered into the temple to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them. And when the seven days were almost ended, God did not allow him to carry this out. The Jews, which were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and lay hands on him, crying out.
