Lamentations 3:22‑23

“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness”— Lamentations 3:22, 2322It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22‑23).
IF God had dealt with us after our sins and in accordance with our deserts we would have been cast away from His presence long since, but in His infinite mercy and compassion He has dealt with us according to the love of His heart, and in all His ways He manifests His faithfulness and His deep Fatherly interest in those who have put their trust in Him. None who wait upon Him need fear that He is indifferent and unconcerned; His love is unchanging, and His heart is ever toward His own.
“‘Great is Thy faithfulness,’ O God, my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not,
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.
Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness,
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth.
Thy own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!”
