Make Haste!

TIME is hastening on. It tarries not. Each day, each hour, each tick of the clock, is hurrying on the day when you must stand before God; for stand before Him you must. There is no escape from the great tribunal. Every one shall be there. The dead, small and great, shall stand before God. Nothing is more certain than the great day. It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment (Heb. 9:2727And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Hebrews 9:27)). Then awake, O sinner! Tarry not. The storm of wrath is at hand. You must have a shelter. God, in His surpassing love, has provided a shelter; and that shelter is “The Man Christ Jesus,” who is “a covert from the tempest,” and “as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.”
