“Akrabbim” From Boyd’s Bible Dictionary:

(scorpion). A range forming a south boundary of Judah (Num. 34:4⁴And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadesh-barnea, and shall go on to Hazar-addar, and pass on to Azmon: (Numbers 34:4)). Maalehacrabbim (Josh. 15:3³And it went out to the south side to Maaleh-acrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadesh-barnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa: (Joshua 15:3)). An Amorite boundary (Judg. 1:36³⁶And the coast of the Amorites was from the going up to Akrabbim, from the rock, and upward. (Judges 1:36)).

“Akrabbim” From Concise Bible Dictionary:

Ascent or mountain pass at the south of the Dead Sea, which formed the border of Palestine, and was also the “coast” of the Amorites (Num. 34:4⁴And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadesh-barnea, and shall go on to Hazar-addar, and pass on to Azmon: (Numbers 34:4); Judg. 1:36³⁶And the coast of the Amorites was from the going up to Akrabbim, from the rock, and upward. Supposed to be some miles south of the Dead Sea, but the spot has not been identified.
