“From a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation, through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” 1 Tim. 3:1515But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. (1 Timothy 3:15).
What blessed examples do I find
Writ in the Word of Truth,
Of children that began to mind
The ways of God in youth.
Samuel, while yet a child, was brought
To wait upon the Lord;
Young Timothy betimes was taught
To know His Holy Word.
