• {Satan} was able to associate the whole world with himself in this, Jew and Gentile, priest and people, governor, soldier, and subject. The world was there, headed by its prince, on that solemn day....All the motives that govern the world and the power by which Satan held men captive are shown to be of him; he is judged.
