 {v.6-7} He reminds Job of his own desire for such a person: “Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both” (chap. 9:33); “Oh that one might plead for a man with God, as a man pleadeth for his neighbor” (chap. 16:21). (Job 32-37 by S. Ridout)
 He, as well as Elihu, has a link with God. This seems to be the thought of the first part of the 6th verse. It reminds Job that God makes known His mind in a gentle way, that Job himself may learn that mind. (Job 32-37 by S. Ridout)
