Ominous shadows of things to come, spreading far and wide on this earth, portend great changes which will ultimately place Christ upon His earthly throne, with Israel again as the chief of the nations of the earth. Power and glory will then be where they belong, in the midst of peace and tranquility in Jerusalem.
One of the superpowers has already dedicated itself to the protection of Israel because of mutual benefits, while the other one of the two is intent upon her destruction; but Israel, after being humbled, will be blessed.
No prophecy will be fulfilled until after the church has left the earth to be with Christ. Following this event, there will be seven years of combined providential and preparatory judgments preceding the day of the Lord.
