As to the compiling of this pamphlet, many brethren were involved in the work. We all have received much spiritual help, having heard brother Hayhoe minister God's Word with such spiritual strength, a happy countenance, and joy of heart. When the Lord Jesus took him Home, we missed him greatly. Nearly 40 years have passed, and it has come into our hearts to publish the things we heard from his lips, trusting the generations that have arisen may benefit spiritually, it was said of Samuel, "the Lord was with him and did let none of his words fall to the ground". We all humbly submit this effort to our readers, trusting the Spirit of God will bless these words to the heart and conscience of His dear people.
