(famous). A judge of Israel (Judg. 12:8-10⁸And after him Ibzan of Bethlehem judged Israel. ⁹And he had thirty sons, and thirty daughters, whom he sent abroad, and took in thirty daughters from abroad for his sons. And he judged Israel seven years. ¹⁰Then died Ibzan, and was buried at Bethlehem. (Judges 12:8‑10)).

A man of Bethlehem, perhaps the city in Zebulon, and if so, he was judge of Israel in the N.E. of the land. He ruled seven years, and had thirty sons and thirty daughters. He was succeeded by Elon a Zebulonite (Judg. 12:8,10-11⁸And after him Ibzan of Bethlehem judged Israel. (Judges 12:8)
