What triumphant joy and blessing
Have Thy saints, O God, in Thee;
Quenchless love, through Christ, possessing
Glory great, and mercy free.
Death itself, nor life, nor angels,
Principalities; nor things
Present, nor to come; nor powers,
Height, nor depth; nor creatures all.
E’er our ransom’d souls can sever
From Thy love, in Christ our Lord;
Kept and bless’d by Thee forever,
Be Thou in His Name ador’d.
