"Happy New Year"

God has in grace and long-suffering spared our lives to begin another year. May it truly be a happy year for each dear reader; happy because conscious of the love of God manifested in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
If you have taken the Lord Jesus as your Saviour, you are the recipient of God’s grace. And a fuller and more wondrous portion God could not have given, grace to save souls from hell, and make them fit for His presence, and grace sufficient for the whole of life’s journey. Is it not part of His wisdom and goodness to leave us here with the opportunity to “grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ”? (2 Peter 3:1818But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. (2 Peter 3:18)).
