1PE 3:10
He that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.
1 Peter 3:10
Guile is being deceitful. We read of the Lord that He spoke no guile. Nathaniel was a person in whom the Lord found no guile. In other words, a guileless person is one who is what he is and there is no cover-up or pretense - trying to appear to be something that he is not. What God wants is reality and truthfulness. These are great qualities to have. May we each covet them for ourselves.
